| Well, 1 down (for the most part), 1 more to go. I will tell you, building these things is very unnerving. Putting a saw to a $45 piece of pipe just generates rampant thoughts of fear and ineptitude which make you screw up the cut that much worse. Working with curved pipes and collecting them is the most difficult part. My wife and I sat in the garage for about an hour and a half trying to figure out what the cut needs to look like to merge the two bends together. We didn't want to just start trying out ideas considering the price of a mistake and she came up with a good idea which happened to work, but the brute-force approach I took of slowly whittling a little bit at a time produced the fit as well as the same lines she drew. :) There is still some small work to be done to this manifold before it is ready for TIG welding, but its not far. Now that I've got some experience and learned a few tricks on this one, the other manifold should come along pretty well. So, here's the pics.
